The Housing (Control of Occupation)
(Amendment of Housing Register) Ordinance, 2003
 
THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 30th April, 2003[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 52 and 66 of the Housing (Control of Occupation) (Guernsey) Law, 1994[b] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-
 
Addition of dwellings to Part A of Housing Register.
1.      The Authority may inscribe in Part A of the Housing Register the dwelling known as Auberge des Isles, Fort Road, St Peter Port (Cadastre No. A4/1015); provided that an application for inscription of the dwelling is submitted within the period referred to in section 2.
 
Period within which application to be submitted.
2.      The period for the purposes of section 1 is that commencing upon the commencement of this Ordinance and ending upon -
 
(a)      the fifth anniversary of the commencement of this Ordinance; or
 
(b)      the repeal or replacement of Part IV of the Housing (Control of Occupation) (Guernsey) Law, 1994,
 
whichever first occurs.
 
Interpretation.
3.      Except where the context requires otherwise, expressions used in this Ordinance shall have the same meanings as in the Housing (Control of Occupation) (Guernsey) Law, 1994, as amended.
 
Citation.
4.      This Ordinance may be cited as the Housing (Control of Occupation) (Amendment of Housing Register) Ordinance, 2003.
