PROJET DE LOI

ENTITLED

The Fees (Alderney) (Amendment) Law, 2003

THE STATES OF ALDERNEY, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 21st day of May, 2003, have approved the following provisions which, subject to the Sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, shall have force of law in the Island of Alderney.

Amendment of Law of 1989.

1.      In the schedule to the Fees (Alderney) Law, 1989[a] -

(a)      in column 1 insert at the appropriate place the following entry-

"Import and Export Control (Alderney) Law, 1946.";

(b)      in column 2 insert against the entry inserted by paragraph (a) the following entry -

"Article 1.";

(c)      in column 3 insert against the entry inserted by paragraph (b) the following entry -

"After paragraph 6 of article 1 insert the following paragraph-

"(7)      A person shall, in respect of a licence granted under this Law or any order made under it, pay to the Clerk of the States such fee as the States may prescribe by Ordinance in accordance with the Fees (Alderney) Law, 1989, as amended."."

Citation.

2.      This Law may be cited as the Fees (Alderney) (Amendment) Law, 2003.
