The Government of Alderney

(Amendment) Law, 2022

THE STATES OF ALDERNEY, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 20^th April, 2022, have approved the following provisions which, subject to the Sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, shall have force of law in the Island of Alderney.

Amendment of Government of Alderney Law, 2004.

1. In section 33(3) (relating to inscription in the register of electors) of the Government of Alderney Law, 2004[a] , for paragraph (a) substitute the following paragraph -

"(a) he has attained the age of 16 years,".

Consequential amendment.

2. In Schedule 2 (form of application for inscription in register of electors) to the States of Alderney Election Procedure Ordinance, 1987[b], for item (a) of the Declaration set out in paragraph 2 of that Schedule, substitute the following item -

"(a) I have attained the age of 16 years,".

Citation.

3. This Law may be cited as the Government of Alderney (Amendment) Law, 2022.
