The Nursing and Residential Homes (Registration and Occupation) (Alderney) (Amendment) Law, 2003

THE STATES OF ALDERNEY, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 23^rd day of April, 2003, have approved the following provisions which, subject to the Sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, shall have force of law in the Island of Alderney.

Amendment of Law of 1987.

1. (1) In section 16 of the Nursing and Residential Homes (Registration and Occupation) (Alderney) Law, 1987[a], after paragraph (b) add the following paragraph -

"or (c) is an individual to whom any sum is payable under the provisions of the Long-term Care Insurance (Guernsey) Law, 2002 in respect of benefit within the meaning of that Law (provided that this paragraph applies only to the individual in respect of whom the entitlement to benefit has arisen).".

Citation.

2. This Law may be cited as the Nursing and Residential Homes (Registration and Occupation) (Alderney) (Amendment) Law, 2003.
