The Appointments Board (Repeal) (Guernsey) Law, 2000

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 31st day of May, 2000[a], have approved the following provisions which, subject to the Sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, shall have force of law in the Island of Guernsey.

Repeal of Laws relating to Appointments Board.

1. The following enactments are repealed-

(a) the Law entitled "Loi sur la Constitution d'un Conseil de Nomination" registered on the 2nd July, 1932[b];

(b) the Law entitled "Loi portant amendement à la Loi sur la Constitution d'un Conseil de Nomination" registered on the 29th December, 1932[c];

(c) the Law entitled "Loi portant amendement à la Loi sur la Constitution d'un Conseil de Nomination (1938)" registered on the 10th September, 1938[d]; and

(d) the Appointments Board (Amendment) (Guernsey) Law, 1990[e].

Amendment of 1985 Law.

2. In the Appointments to the States Established Staff (Guernsey) Law, 1985[f]-

(a) paragraph (a) of section 1 is repealed;

(b) in paragraph (b) of section 1, for "Appointments Board" substitute "Civil Service Board"; and

(c) in paragraph (c) of section 1, for "either paragraphs (a) or (b) of this section" substitute "paragraph (b) of this section".

Citation.

3. This Law may be cited as the Appointments Board (Repeal) (Guernsey) Law, 2000.
