The Reform (Guernsey) (Amendment) Law, 2007

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 31^st October, 2007[a], have approved the following provisions which, subject to the Sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, shall have force of law in the Islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou:-

Amendment of Law of 1948.

1. The Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948, as amended[b] is further amended as follows.

2. In Article 25(2) for "17 years"[c] substitute "15 years".

3. In Article 27(1)(a) -

(a) for "17 years"[d] substitute "15 years", and

(b) for "18 years" substitute "16 years".

4. In Article 27(1A) for "17 years"[e] substitute "15 years".

5. In Article 27(4) for "18"[f] substitute "16 years".

6. In Article 28(1) for "18 years"[g] substitute "16 years".

Citation.

7. This Law may be cited as the Reform (Guernsey) (Amendment) Law, 2007.
