Orders of the Royal Court, the Court of Alderney and the Court of The Seneschal
Orders of the Royal Court usually provide for the practice and procedure to be followed in proceedings before the Court or for fees and charges. Orders are made under the inherent powers of the Court or further to specific statutory powers. In Guernsey, the statutory powers include those created under Article 64 of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948 and section 12 of the Royal Court (Miscellaneous Reform Provisions) Law, 1950. In Sark, they include the statutory powers created under the Reform (Sark) Law, 2008.
