The Preferred Debts (Guernsey and Alderney) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2006

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 29^th day of March, 2006[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1(2) of the Preferred Debts (Guernsey) Law, 1983, as amended[b] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

Amendment of 1983 Law.

1. In section 1(2) of the Preferred Debts (Guernsey) Law, 1983, for the words "three thousand pounds"[c] substitute "£5,000".

Extent.

2. This Ordinance shall have effect in the Islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Jethou.

Citation.

3. This Ordinance may be cited as the Preferred Debts (Guernsey and Alderney) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2006.
