The Alderney (Application of Legislation) (Adoption) Ordinance, 2001

THE STATES, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Alderney (Application of Legislation) Law, 1948[a], hereby order:-

Provisions to have effect in Alderney.

1. The Adoption (Amendment) (Guernsey) Law, 2000[b] and the Adoption (Amendment) (Guernsey) Law, 2000 (Commencement and Consequential Amendment) Ordinance, 2001[c] shall have effect in the Island of Alderney as they have effect in the Island of Guernsey.

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Alderney (Application of Legislation) (Adoption) Ordinance, 2001.

Commencement.

3. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 1^st November, 2001.
