The Plant Health (Enabling Provisions) (Guernsey) Law, 2014 (Commencement) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020

THE STATES POLICY & RESOURCES COMMITTEE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the States by sections 3 and 8 of the Plant Health (Enabling Provisions) (Guernsey) Law, 2014[a] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Committee by Article 66A(1) of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948[b], hereby order:-

Amendment of the 2019 Commencement Ordinance.

1. (1) The Plant Health (Enabling Provisions) (Guernsey) Law, 2014 (Commencement) Ordinance, 2019[c] is amended as follows.

(2) In section 1 (commencement of the Plant Health Law) –

(a) in subsection (1), for "exit day" substitute "the 4^th February, 2020", and

(b) delete subsection (3).

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Plant Health (Enabling Provisions) (Guernsey) Law, 2014 (Commencement) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.
