The Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002

THE STATES, on the representations of the States Advisory and Finance Committee, hereby order:-

Qualifications for admission as Advocate.

1. For section 3(2)(a) of the Bar Ordinance, 1949[a] as amended[b] there is substituted -

"(a) a Licence or Maîtrise en Droit of one of the Universities of France, or".

Citation

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002.

Collective title

3. This Ordinance and the Bar Ordinances, 1932 to 1996[c] may be cited together as the Bar Ordinances, 1932 to 2002.
