The Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003

THE STATES, on the representations of the States Advisory and Finance Committee, hereby order:-

Fees for Guernsey Bar exams.

1. In section 5 of the Bar Ordinance, 1949, as amended[a] -

(a) for "five pounds and five shillings" there is substituted "£125"; and

(b) for "one pound and fifteen shillings" there is substituted "£30".

Citation

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003.

Collective title

3. This Ordinance and the Bar Ordinances, 1932 to 2002[b] may be cited together as the Bar Ordinances, 1932 to 2003.

Commencement.

4. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 30^th April, 2003.
