The Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2004

THE STATES LEGISLATION COMMITTEE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Committee by Article 66(3) of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948, as amended[a], hereby orders:-

Removal of requirement to be subject of Her Majesty.

1. In section 3 of the Bar Ordinance, 1949, as amended[b], for the words "subject of His Majesty" substitute "person".

Citation

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2004.

Commencement.

3. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 30^th April, 2004.
