The Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2005

THE LEGISLATION SELECT COMMITTEE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 66(3) of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948, as amended[a] and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby orders:-

Requirement for certificat.

1. In section 3 of the Bar Ordinance, 1949, as amended[b], in paragraph (2)(b)[c] after the words "from Caen University" insert "or such other qualification from that University as the Royal Court considers to be equivalent to such a Certificat".

Citation

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2005.

Commencement.

3. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 14^th January, 2005.
