The Firearms (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002

THE STATES, on the representations of the States Recreation Committee, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 22 and 55 of the Firearms (Guernsey) Law, 1998[a] and all other powers enabling them, hereby order:-

Amendment of Firearms Ordinance, 1987.

1. In paragraph (a) 1 of Part III of Schedule 1 of the Firearms Ordinance, 1987 after "Sunday" insert -

“(provided that this condition shall not apply in respect of the Sunday which falls upon 29 June 2003 when firearms may be fired upon the Range between 0700 and sunset on that day)”.

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Firearms (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002.
