The Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009 (Amendment) Ordinance, 2016
 
THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 27th January, 2016[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 7 of the Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009[b] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-
 
Amendment of the 2009 Law.
1.      After the entry in relation to offences against section 1 of the Vehicular Traffic (Parking at Beau Séjour) (Prohibition) Ordinance, 1979 in the Schedule to the Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009, insert the following entry in columns (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) respectively –

Offences against section 4 of the Vehicular Traffic (Hospitals, etc.) Ordinance, 1985
Driving, riding or parking a vehicle on controlled land in contravention of the Ordinance.

Interpretation.
2.      (1)      The Interpretation (Guernsey) Law, 1948[c] applies to the interpretation of this Ordinance.
 
(2)      Any reference in this Ordinance to an enactment is a reference thereto as from time to time amended, re-enacted (with or without modification), extended or applied.
 
 
Extent.
3.      This Ordinance shall have effect in the Islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou.
 
Citation.
4.      This Ordinance may be cited as the Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009 (Amendment) Ordinance, 2016.
 
Commencement.
5.      This Ordinance shall come into force on the 30th June, 2016.
