The Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009 (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 26^th January, 2024[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 7 of the Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009[b] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

Amendment of Schedule to the Fixed Penalties Law.

1. (1) The table in the Schedule to the Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009 is amended as follows.

(2) In column (4) (Amount of fixed penalty) –

(a) for "£40", wherever appearing, substitute "£65",

(b) for "£70", wherever appearing, substitute "£95", and

(c) for "£100", wherever appearing, substitute "£125".

(3) In column (5) (Reduced Amount of fixed penalty (if paid within 7 days)) -

(a) for "£30", wherever appearing, substitute "£55",

(b) for "£60", wherever appearing, substitute "£85", and

(c) for "£90", wherever appearing, substitute "£115".

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Guernsey) Law, 2009 (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024.

Commencement.

3. This Ordinance shall come into force on being made.
