The Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance, 2010

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 28^th July, 2010[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 85 of the Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002, as amended[b], and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

Amendment of the Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002.

1. The Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002, as amended, is further amended as follows.

2. In section 38(3) for "67" substitute "68".

3. In section 53(2)(b) for "67" substitute "68".

4. Section 67 is repealed.

5. In section 73(1)(a), (2)(a) and (3)(a) the expression "67," is repealed.

6. In section 74 -

(a) paragraph (a) is repealed,

(b) item (A) is repealed, and

7. In section 80(k) for "67" substitute "68".

Extent.

8. This Ordinance has effect throughout the Bailiwick.

Citation.

9. This Ordinance may be cited as the Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance, 2010.

Commencement.

10. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 28^th July, 2010.
