The Gambling (Betting) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009

THE STATES LEGISLATION COMMITTEE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the States by section 2 of the Gambling (Guernsey) Law, 1971, as amended[a] and on the Committee by Article 66(3) of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948, as amended[b], hereby orders:-

Amendments to Ordinance of 1973.

1. In the definition of "horse race" in section 38(1) of the Gambling (Betting) Ordinance, 1973[c], immediately after the word "gelding" wherever appearing insert ", sheep".

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Gambling (Betting) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2009.
