The Hotel Casino Concession (Guernsey) Law, 2001 (Commencement and Consequential Amendment) Ordinance, 2002

THE STATES, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 12 and 14 of the Hotel Casino Concession (Guernsey) Law, 2001[a], hereby order:-

Commencement of Law.

1. The Hotel Casino Concession (Guernsey) Law, 2001 shall come into force on the 31^st July, 2002.

Amendment of the Law.

2. For section 2(2) substitute -

" (2) There shall be submitted with an application made under subsection (1) -

(a) a written statement made by the applicant or, where the applicant is a company, made by a director of that company, in the form set out in Part II of the Schedule; and

(b) such fee, payable to the States in such manner and subject to such conditions (including, for the avoidance of any doubt and not by way of limitation, a condition that any such fee shall not, in any circumstances, be refunded to the applicant) as the Board may by regulations determine. "

Citation.

3. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hotel Casino Concession (Guernsey) Law, 2001 (Commencement and Consequential Amendment) Ordinance, 2002.
