The By-election (Saint Peter Port South) Ordinance, 2005

THE STATES, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Articles 29(3) and 34(11)(a) of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948 as amended[a], hereby order:-

Date of election and closure of Roll.

1. An election to fill the casual vacancy in the office of People's Deputy for the electoral district of the Saint Peter Port South arising upon the death of Michael Edmund Wills Burbridge shall be held on Wednesday, 21^st September, 2005; and for the purposes of that election the Electoral Roll shall be closed on 8^th August, 2005.

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the By-election (Saint Peter Port South) Ordinance, 2005.
