the States, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 20^th November, 2024[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 15A of the Reform (Amendment) (Guernsey) Law, 1972[b], and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

Amendment of the 1972 Law.

1. (1) The Reform (Amendment) (Guernsey) Law, 1972 is amended as follows.

(2) In subsection (2) of section 5 (application by absent voter to be entered on the Register), for "October 2020" substitute "June 2025", and for "25^th September 2020" substitute "29^th May 2025".

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Postal Voting (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.
