The Reform (Guernsey) (Amendment) Law, 2003 (Commencement) Ordinance, 2003

THE STATES LEGISLATION COMMITTEE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the States by section 6 of the Reform (Guernsey) (Amendment) Law, 2003[a], and on the Committee by Article 66(3) of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948[b], hereby orders:-

Commencement of 2003 Law.

1. (1) Sections 1(2), 1(3), 1(4), 1(8), 1(9), 1(10), 2(1), 3 and 4(2) of the Reform (Guernsey) (Amendment) Law, 2003 shall come into force on the 1^st May, 2004.

(2) The other provisions of the Reform (Guernsey) (Amendment) Law, 2003 shall come into force on the 1^st August, 2003.

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Reform (Guernsey) (Amendment) Law, 2003 (Commencement) Ordinance, 2003.
