The Capacity (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020 (Commencement) (Guernsey and Alderney) Ordinance, 2022

THE STATES, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 85(1) of the Capacity (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020[a], and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

Commencement of Law.

1. The following provisions of the Capacity (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020 shall come into force on 1^st April, 2022 -

(a) only to the extent relevant for the bringing into force, and operation, of Part 4 -

(i) Parts 1 and 2,

(ii) Part 3 (except sections 17 to 20), and

(iii) section 77,

(b) Part 4, and

Extent.

2. This Ordinance has effect in the islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Jethou.

Citation.

3. This Ordinance may be cited as the Capacity (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020 (Commencement) (Guernsey and Alderney) Ordinance, 2022.
