The Legal Aid Law (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Commencement) Ordinance, 2005

 

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 26th May, 2005[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 34 of the Legal Aid (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2003[b] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

 

Commencement of Law with exception of Part III and sections 18 and 19.

1.      With the exception of Part III and sections 18 and 19, the Legal Aid (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2003 shall come into force on the 28th September 2005.

 

Extent.

2.      This Ordinance has effect throughout the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

 

Citation.

3.      This Ordinance may be cited as the Legal Aid Law (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Commencement) Ordinance, 2005.

 

Commencement.

4.      This Ordinance shall come into force on the 28th September 2005.
