The Liquor Licensing (Amendment) Ordinance, 2010
THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 27th day of October, 2005[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 1 and 2(c) of the Control of Intoxicating Liquor (Enabling Provisions) (Guernsey) Law, 2006[b], and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-
Amendment of section 84 of the 2006 Ordinance.
1. For section 84(4) of the Liquor Licensing Ordinance, 2006[c], substitute the following subsection -
"(4) The Department may by regulations made under this section -
(a) amend Schedule 4 to this Ordinance, and
(b) otherwise amend, revoke or create fees payable under this Ordinance.".
Interpretation.
2. Any reference in this Ordinance to any other enactment shall be deemed to include a reference to that enactment as amended, repealed and re-enacted, extended or applied by or under any other enactment including this Ordinance.
Extent and citation.
3. This Ordinance -
(a) has effect in the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou, and
(b) may be cited as the Liquor Licensing (Amendment) Ordinance, 2010.
Commencement.
4. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 26th May, 2010.
