The Prison (Guernsey) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 28^th January, 2015[a] and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 6, 7 and 8 of the Prison (Enabling Provisions) (Guernsey) Law, 2010[b], hereby order:-

Amendment of the Ordinance of 2013.

1. The Prison (Guernsey) Ordinance, 2013[c] is amended as follows.

2. In Schedule 3 to that Ordinance –

(a) in paragraph 1(1) (Constitution of the Panel), omit "and not more than eight", and

(b) in paragraph 8(4)(a)(ii) (Meetings), for "eight", substitute "more".

Interpretation.

3. Any reference in this Ordinance to an enactment is a reference thereto as from time to time amended, re-enacted (with or without modification), extended or applied.

Citation.

4. This Ordinance may be cited as the Prison (Guernsey) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015.

Commencement.

5. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 1^st August, 2015.
