The Markets (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Repeal) Ordinance, 2001

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 27th day of November, 1997[a], hereby order:-

Repeal of Ordinances relating to the Market.

1. The following enactments are repealed -

(a) the Ordinance entitled "Ordonnance relative aux Marchés Publics, aux Abattoirs et à la Vente de la Viande" of the 20th April, 1918[b];

(b) the Ordinance entitled "Ordonnance supplémentaire a l'Ordonnance relative aux Marchés Publics, aux Abattoirs et à la Vente de la Viande" of the 27th November, 1920[c];

(c) the Ordinance entitled "Ordonnance supplémentaire a l'Ordonnance relative aux Marchés Publics, aux Abattoirs et à la Vente de la Viande" of the 20th April, 1925[d];

(d) the Ordinance entitled "Ordonnance supplémentaire a l'Ordonnance relative aux Marchés Publics, aux Abattoirs et à la Vente de la Viande du 20 avril 1918" of the 2nd July, 1932[e];

(e) the Ordinance entitled "Ordonnance de 1941 supplémentaire a l'Ordonnance (du 20 avril 1918) relative aux Marchés Publics, aux Abattoirs et à la Vente de la Viande" of the 6th December, 1941[f];

(f) the Ordinance entitled "Ordonnance prohibant les Chiens dans les Marchés Publics et les Halles Françaises" of the 26th June, 1943[g];

(g) the Public Markets, Slaughterhouses and Sale of Meat (Amendment) Ordinance, 1962[h];

(h) in the States Civil Service Board (Implementation) Ordinance, 1964[i], paragraph (a) of the Schedule;

(i) the Public Markets, Slaughterhouses and Sale of Meat Regulations (Amendment) Ordinance, 1967[j];

(j) the Public Markets, Slaughterhouses and Sale of Meat (Amendment) Ordinance, 1969[k];

(k) in the Slaughter of Livestock (Amendment) Ordinance, 1996[l], section 3 and Schedules 1 and 2.

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Markets (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Repeal) Ordinance, 2001.
