The Public Holidays (Liberation Day in 2010) Ordinance, 2010

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 24^th March, 2010[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1(1) of the Bills of Exchange (Guernsey) Law, 1958, as amended[b] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

Liberation Day in 2010..

1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 1(f) of the Public Holidays Ordinance, 1994, as amended[c], Sunday, the 9^th May, 2010 shall not be a public holiday.

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Holidays (Liberation Day in 2010) Ordinance, 2010.

Commencement.

3. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 28^th April, 2010.
