The Public Holidays Ordinance, 2004

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 25th February, 2004[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1(1) of the Bills of Exchange (Guernsey) Law, 1958, as amended[b], hereby order:-

Public holidays in 2004 and 2005.

1.      Without prejudice to the provisions of the Public Holidays Ordinance, 1994[c], Tuesday, the 28th December 2004 and Monday, the 3rd January 2005 shall be public holidays.

Extent.

2.      This Ordinance has effect in the Islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou.

Citation.

3.      This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Holidays Ordinance, 2004.
