The Supplementary Benefit (Implementation) (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance, 2005

 

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 28th day of September, 2005[a] and in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 3(2) and 15 of the Supplementary Benefit (Guernsey) Law, 1971, as amended[b] and all other powers enabling them, hereby order:-

 

Amendment of Ordinance.

1.      In the First Schedule to the Supplementary Benefit (Implementation) Ordinance, 1971, as amended[c] -

 

(a)      for paragraph 6(1)(b) substitute -

 

"in any other case, such amount (if any) not exceeding £15 as the Administrator may determine as reasonable having regard to the circumstances of the applicant and the householder of whose household the applicant is a member.",

 

(b)      in paragraph 15(1) for "£20" substitute "£30", and

 

(c)      for the numbered Tables set out in the appendix to the First Schedule, substitute the numbered Tables set out in the schedule to this Ordinance.

 

Extent.

2.      This Ordinance shall have effect in the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou.

 

Citation.

3.      This Ordinance may be cited as the Supplementary Benefit (Implementation) (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance, 2005.

 

Commencement.

4.      This Ordinance shall come into force on the 6th day of January, 2006.
