The Central Outdoor Assistance Board Regulations (Amendment) Ordinance, 2000

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 11th day of October, 2000[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Article XXII of the Public Assistance Law, 1937, as amended[b], hereby order:-

Amendment to the Regulations of 1963.

1.      The Central Outdoor Assistance Board Regulations, 1963, as amended, set out in the schedule to the Central Outdoor Assistance Board Regulations Ordinance, 1963[c], are further amended as follows-

(a)      in paragraph 4(1)(b) of the Schedule to the Regulations[d], for "£5" substitute "£15";

(b)      in paragraph 2(2) of the Schedule to the Regulations, for "£190" substitute "£200";

(c)      in paragraph 6(2) of the Schedule to the Regulations, for "£10" substitute "£20";

(d)      in paragraph 6(3) of the Schedule to the Regulations, for "£5" substitute "£10";

(e)      in paragraph 7 of the Schedule to the Regulations, for "£15" substitute "£20";

(f)      in paragraph 10(a) of the Schedule to the Regulations, for "£117.00" substitute "£122.25";

(g)      in paragraph 10(b) of the Schedule to the Regulations, for "£73.50" substitute "£76.75";and

(h)      for paragraph 10(c) of the Schedule to the Regulations, substitute the following-

"(c) for any other person who is-

(i)      aged 18 and over, £64.50;

(ii)      aged 16 or over but under 18, £46.50;

(iii)      aged 13 or over but under 16, £35.25;

(iv)      aged 11 or over but under 13, £26.75;

(v)      aged 5 or over but under 11, £24.50;

(vi)      aged under 5, £18.25.".

Repeal.

            2.      The Central Outdoor Assistance Board Regulations (Amendment) Ordinance, 1999[e] is repealed.

Citation.

3.      This Ordinance may be cited as the Central Outdoor Assistance Board Regulations (Amendment) Ordinance, 2000.

Commencement.

4.      This Ordinance shall come into force on the 1st day of January 2001.
