The Document Duty (Amendment) Ordinance, 2007

 

THE STATES, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 1 and 6 of the Document Duty (Guernsey) Law, 1973, as amended[a], and in pursuance of their Resolution of 29th November 2007, hereby order:-

 

Termination of transitional duty reduction in relation to fee farm property etc.

1.      In the Document Duty Ordinance 2003[b], sections 3(2) and 6(2) are repealed.

 

Extent.

2.      This Ordinance shall have effect in the Islands of Guernsey and Alderney.

 

Citation and Commencement.

3.      This Ordinance may be cited as the Document Duty (Amendment) Ordinance, 2007 and shall come into force on 1st April, 2008.
