Ordinance, 2020
THE STATES POLICY & RESOURCES COMMITTEE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the States by sections 3 and 6 of the Public Transport (Guernsey) Law, 1984[a] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Committee by article 66A(1) of the Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948[b], hereby order:-
Amendment.
The Public Transport Ordinance, 1986[c] ("the principal Ordinance") is amended as follows.
In section 27 of the principal Ordinance, after "public service omnibus licence," insert "a public service excursion licence,".
In section 57 of the principal Ordinance, after the definition of "public excursion service licence", insert –
"public service excursion licence" means a public service excursion licence granted under section 7 in respect of a motor vehicle designed or adapted to carry not more than eight passengers, for the use of that vehicle to operate a public excursion service,".
In Part I of the First Schedule to the principal Ordinance, after "Public service omnibus licence." insert "Public service excursion licence.".
Citation and commencement.
5. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Transport (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 and shall come into force on the 24th August, 2020.
