The Public Trustee (Amendment) Ordinance, 2004

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 30^th April, 2003[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 2(1)(c)(ii) and 26 of the Public Trustee (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002[b], hereby order:-

Amendment of Law.

1. In section 2(1)(a) of the Public Trustee (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002, immediately after subparagraph (iii) insert the following subparagraph -

"or (iv) all or any of the beneficiaries of the trust cannot be identified, ascertained or found;".

Citation.

2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Trustee (Amendment) Ordinance, 2004.

Commencement.

3. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 1^st June, 2004.
