The Electricity (Guernsey) Law, 2001 (Commencement and Amendment) Ordinance, 2001

THE STATES, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 36 and section 37(2) of the Electricity (Guernsey) Law, 2001[a], hereby order:-

Commencement of Law.

1. The Electricity (Guernsey) Law, 2001 shall come into force on the 1^st February, 2002.

Amendment of schedule 2 of Law.

2. In schedule 2 to the Electricity (Guernsey) Law, 2001 -

(a) in paragraph 8(4) for "shall" substitute "may";

(b) paragraph 8(5) is repealed.

Citation.

3. This Ordinance may be cited as the Electricity (Guernsey) Law, 2001 (Commencement and Amendment) Ordinance, 2001.
