The States Trading Companies (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2014

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 29^th October, 2013[a], and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 2 and 6 of the States Trading Companies (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2001[b] and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-

Amendment of Ordinance.

1. For section 8 of the States Trading Companies (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Ordinance, 2001, as amended[c], substitute the following -

"Submission of accounts and annual report to the States.

8. The Committee shall cause to be submitted to the States for their consideration -

(a) as soon as is reasonably practicable after the receipt thereof, the accounts of the States trading companies and the auditors' reports thereon, and

(b) an accompanying report on the activities of those companies.".

Extent.

2. This Ordinance has effect throughout the Bailiwick.

Citation.

3. This Ordinance may be cited as the States Trading Companies (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2014.

Commencement.

4. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 1^st May, 2014.
