The Fishing (Sark) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2013
THE GENERAL PURPOSES AND ADVISORY COMMITTEE, in pursuance of the Chief Pleas of Sark Resolution of the 2nd October, 2013, hereby orders:-
Amendment of 1996 Ordinance.
1. After section 4(2) of the Fishing (Sark) Ordinance, 1996, insert the following subsections -
"(3) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1), a person may in this Island have in his possession any lobster or crawfish of any kind, or any brown crab or spider crab, during the period specified in that subsection provided that -
(a) the lobster, crawfish or crab was taken outside this Island, and
(b) the lobster, crawfish or crab is stored or is being transported for storage in the designated area known as Les Laches approved for the time being by the Committee.
(4) For the avoidance of doubt, subsection (3) is without prejudice to section 1 ("minimum size of fish").".
Citation.
2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fishing (Sark) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2013.
Commencement.
3. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 23rd October, 2013.
