The Reform (Election of Deputy Speaker)
(Sark) Ordinance, 2023
THE CHIEF PLEAS OF SARK, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 19th April 2023, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 22A(5) and 22B(2) of the Reform (Sark) Law, 2008[a], and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-
Date of election of Deputy Speaker.
1. (1) The date appointed for the Deputy Speaker election is 24th May, 2023.
(2) In subsection (1), "the Deputy Speaker election" means an election for the office of Deputy Speaker of the Chief Pleas for a term of office commencing immediately upon election.
Citation.
2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Reform (Election of Deputy Speaker) (Sark) Ordinance, 2023.
