The Reform (Election of President) (Date of Election) (Sark) Ordinance, 2012
THE CHIEF PLEAS OF SARK, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 6th October, 2010, and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 22A(5) of the Reform (Sark) Law, 2008, as amended[a], hereby order:-
Date of election of President.
1. (1) The date for an election for the purpose of electing the first President of the Chief Pleas shall be 27th February, 2013.
Interpretation.
2. (1) The Interpretation (Guernsey) Law, 1948[b] applies to the interpretation of this Ordinance.
(2) Any reference in this Ordinance to an enactment is a reference thereto as from time to time amended, re-enacted (with or without modification), extended or applied.
Citation.
3. This Ordinance may be cited as the Reform (Election of President) (Date of Election) (Sark) Ordinance, 2012.
