The Direct Taxes
(Sark) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2023
THE CHIEF PLEAS OF SARK, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 24th May 2023, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 10(e) of the Direct Taxes (Sark) Law, 2002[a], and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby order:-
1. Amendment to Direct Taxes (Sark) Law, 2002.
1. In the Direct Taxes (Sark) Law, 2002, in section 8(2)(a)(i), for "£500" substitute "£1,000".
2. Citation.
2. This Ordinance may be cited as the Direct Taxes (Sark) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2023.
3. Commencement.
3. This Ordinance comes into force on the day it is made.
