The Financial Provisions (Amendment) (Sark) Ordinance, 2010

THE CHIEF PLEAS OF SARK, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 6^th October, 2010, and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 12, 20 and 28 of the Financial Provisions (Sark) Law, 1978, as amended[a], hereby order:-

Amendment of the Financial Provisions (Sark) Law, 1978.

1. The Financial Provisions (Sark) Law, 1978 is amended as follows -

(a) in the Third Schedule, for "£20" substitute "£22",

(b) in the Fourth Schedule, for "£10 " substitute "£11", and

Interpretation.

2. (1) The Interpretation (Guernsey) Law, 1948[b] applies to the interpretation of this Ordinance.

(2) Any reference in this Ordinance to an enactment is a reference thereto as from time to time amended, re-enacted (with or without modification), extended or applied.

Repeal.

3. The Financial Provisions (Amendment) (Sark) Ordinance, 2006[c] is repealed.

Citation.

4. This Ordinance may be cited as the Financial Provisions (Amendment) (Sark) Ordinance, 2010.

Commencement.

5. This Ordinance shall come into force on the 1^st January 2011.
