The Financial Provisions (Variation of Rates) (Sark)

Ordinance, 2015

THE CHIEF PLEAS OF SARK, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 30^th September, 2015, and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 of the Financial Provisions (Sark) Law, 1978[a], hereby order:-

Variation of landing tax.

1. In the First Schedule to the Financial Provisions (Sark) Law, 1978 –

(a) delete "and", and

(b) for paragraph (c) substitute -

"(c) £1.00 per person (from 1^st January, 1994 until 31^st December, 2015); and

(d) £1.05 per person (from 1^st January, 2016).".

Repeal.

2. The Financial Provisions (Variation of Rates) (Sark) Ordinance, 1991 is repealed.

Interpretation.

3. (1) The Interpretation (Guernsey) Law, 1948[b] applies to the interpretation of this Ordinance.

(2) Any reference in this Ordinance to an enactment is a reference thereto as from time to time amended, re-enacted (with or without modification), extended or applied.

Citation.

4. This Ordinance may be cited as the Financial Provisions (Variation of Rates) (Sark) Ordinance, 2015.
