1. Who we are and how to contact us
This page (taken with the documents and pages it refers to) tells you the terms of use which you agree to when you use www.guernseylegalresources.gg (the “website”) which is managed by the Royal Court of Guernsey (“GLR”, “we”, “us”, “our”). To contact us, please email [email protected].
2. By using our site you accept these terms
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by any third party. We aim to update our site regularly and may change the content at any time. We may amend these terms from time to time without notice. Whilst GLR makes reasonable efforts both to ensure that the data shown on the site is accurate and to keep www.guernseylegalresources.gg up-to-date, it does not provide any guarantees, conditions or warranties to the accuracy or completeness of the information on the site, as further set out in our Disclaimer, to which you agree in accordance with clause 2.

You agree and understand that GLR uses cookies on the Website in accordance with the GLR Cookies notice. By using the Website, you consent to such processing and use, and you warrant that any data provided by you is accurate.
9. Viruses, hacking and other offences
We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You must take your own precautions to ensure that the process that you employ for accessing our website does not expose you to the risk of viruses, malicious computer code or other forms of interference which may damage your own computer system. GLR cannot and does not accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system that may occur whilst using material derived from our website. You are responsible for configuring your IT, programmes and platform to access our site. You must not misuse this site by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, the server on which our site is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack this site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under The Computer Misuse (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1991. GLR will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and GLR will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Guernsey. Any dispute arising under, or in connection with, these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guernsey.
11. General
GLR accepts no liability for any failure to comply with these terms and conditions where such failure is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If GLR waives any rights available to us under these terms and conditions on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived on any other occasion. If any of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the remaining terms and conditions shall nevertheless continue in full force.
