The Vehicular Traffic (Speed Limits) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002

THE STATES, in pursuance of their Resolution of the 25^th September, 2002[a], hereby orders:-

Amendment to Ordinance of 1929.

1. In the Ordinance entitled "Ordonnance relative au Trafic Véhiculaire en cette Île" of the 2^nd March, 1929[b], after paragraph (2) of article X[c] insert the following paragraph -

"(2A) The provisions of paragraph (2) of this Article shall not apply to regulations made under paragraph (1)(c)(iii) of this Article as to the maximum speed of vehicles in a particular locality, provided always that a temporary regulation in respect of that maximum speed in that locality has first been made in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic Temporary Regulations Ordinance, 1950[d]).".

Amendment to Ordinance of 1987.

2. In Part I of Schedule 1 to the Road Traffic (Speed Limits and Trials) Ordinance, 1987[e], in paragraph 3(f), in the entry relating to La Route de Carteret[f], for the words "Clôs de Carteret" substitute "Les Génats Estate".

Citation.

3. This Ordinance may be cited as the Vehicular Traffic (Speed Limits) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2002.
